Spanish sports

Spain's good at some sports. I believe that some of our recent successes come mostly via doping and /or public investments. Whichever the cause, the truth is that we have important people doing important things in different fields:

- Formula 1: Fernando Alonso
- Basketball: World Champions, 3 guys in the NBA
- Tennis: Rafa Nadal
- Handball: World Champions

On the other hand, we really did a poor performance in the last Olympic Games. We made 20th in the medal rank, less than Romania or Greece. Government keeps getting taxes from citizens to solve that issue.

I guess this compulsory financing of elite athletes is good for me, somehow.
