New law on consumers protection

A new law has been enacted to protect consumers. Regulation on consumers protection is inspired in European Union principles on the matter.

Consumer protection in Europe (and therefore, in Spain) always imply less freedom for both consumers and enterprises.
For example, the new law sets the way that some communication companies can bill their customers (prohibition of round-ups). We could imagine about restaurants having the obligation of not charging the whole price of a starter if you do not finish it.
Real
problem is the few communication companies that are allowed to compete. Spanish complex regulation restricts competence on this sector, and therefore, causes high prices.

As usual, we try to solve problems of Public regulation by more Public regulation.
